Laine Publishing is a Finnish publishing house founded in 2016 by Jonna Hietala and Sini Kramer. Their goal was to create visually ambitious, interesting, and inspiring magazine for knitters. What started as a passion project of two women has grown into one of the world's most well-known and beloved independent publishing houses. The bag model designed for Laine focused on addressing the needs of knitters. Inside the minimalist waist bag is a solid pouch closed with a cotton cord. It securely encloses the unfinished knitting project in its own space, preventing other items carried in the bag from damaging the work. Two additional compartments on the sides hold everyday essential small items.
